Description
The Barcelona Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in Europe and considered the most important in Mediterranean theme. It consists of an 80-meter underwater tunnel allowing visits to walk under more than 5 million liters of water and enjoy thousands of marine species.

Penetron's crystalline technology was responsible for preventing the penetration of chlorides (from salt water) and increasing durability in the tunnels and tanks. PENETRON was applied to waterproof the tanks and aquariums, the foundation slab, and elevator pits. In addition, the roof and the aquarium access plaza were treated against corrosion.
